Full Description
Day 1: Delhi → Jaipur, Amber Fort, Nahargarh Fort & Cooking Class with Dinner
Your journey begins with a morning pick‑up from your hotel in Delhi and transfer to the railway station. The train departs at 06:10 AM, and breakfast with tea is served onboard. On arrival in Jaipur at 10:35 AM, your driver and guide will meet you at the station and take you straight to explore the majestic Amber Fort, famous for its grand courtyards and the shimmering Sheesh Mahal. A short stop at Panna Meena ka Kund, a historic stepwell, adds charm to the morning. After lunch and hotel check‑in, the evening is reserved for a self‑guided visit to Nahargarh Fort, where you can enjoy sweeping sunset views over the Pink City. Later, your driver will take you to a local home for a warm cultural experience — a hands‑on cooking class followed by dinner with a Jaipur family, offering authentic hospitality and flavors of Rajasthan.
Day 2: City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal & Local Artisan Experience
Pick‑up from your hotel is at 08:30 AM for a full day of sightseeing. Begin at the City Palace, a blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture that still houses Jaipur’s royal family. Continue to Jantar Mantar, the UNESCO‑listed observatory with giant instruments that measure time and track stars. Next is the iconic Hawa Mahal, or “Palace of Winds,” with its pink sandstone façade and hundreds of latticed windows. A photo stop at Jal Mahal, the enchanting Water Palace in Man Sagar Lake, adds to the highlights. The afternoon is spent exploring Jaipur’s colorful bazaars and artisan workshops, where you can watch craftsmen at work and shop for textiles, pottery, and jewelry. After lunch, you’ll have some leisure time before heading to the railway station. The train departs at 05:35 PM, with dinner served onboard, and arrives back in Delhi at 10:30 PM, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel.
